Milford Sound Stormlight

     The one thing I can guarantee about the weather in Milford Sound in New Zealand is that it is always changing. Quickly. I left the car in sunshine but by the time I reached my shooting location I could see a storm fast approaching from the ocean. That storm provided better light, clouds that hovered above the water and enveloped the mountains, and creating a mood that I would not have gotten if the empty, blue skies I drove in with had remained. The advancing storm provided the opportunity to feed my image-making creativity.
