Huangshan Pale Mountain Dawn

In the early morning hours I stood atop a mountain and watched as a pale light and heavy haze settled over the nearby mountain of Huangshan, China. There was nothing moving and silence hung in the air as heavy as the mountain haze. From my vantage point, I could look down at the lines of mountain ridges below. They reminded me of the waves on a gently sea. The simplicity of the scene created an epic setting for a beautiful minimalist image.
