Iceland Highland Mountain Falls 5407

     As I was learning the art of photography, waterfalls were one of the subjects that resonated to most with me. After venturing out of the flatter lands of Minnesota and into the Rockies, mountains became the second to resonate strongly. I never tire of them as subject elements especially when I can get them in the same frame. Every time I come across them together, it is always a new and different experience that I relish. So when I go to Iceland, venturing deep into the highlands in search of waterfall landscapes is always a box to check. I begin with no expectations or preconceptions of the images I want to make. I have found it best to let nature provide the settings to give my imagination free reign for image creation.
