Italy Val di Funes Santa Magdalena Sunset Mountains and Valley 7467

     While sitting on a hillside I look down into the Val di Funes on the village of Santa Magdelena as the day slowly changed into the coming evening. With the village backdropped by the Dolomite Mountains and the Seceda ridgeline it was a scene I had viewed numerous times before but always at the wrong time of day or not the perfect weather to create an epic composition. On this trip, I had the perfect sunset sky that topped the composition while the setting sun still shone brightly on the Val and village structures.
