Iwakuni Yamaguchi Prefecture Kintai Bridge 6848M

     Located on the foot of Mt. Yokoyama, Kintai Bridge is a historical wooden arch bridge. It is a pedestrian bridge built in 1673 the mountain’s base. It was early morning, and the clouds had engulfed most of the mountains with extensions that trailed down the mountain sides into the valleys below. While I was photographing the bridge against the cloud covered mountain background, I was fortunate enough to have a lady in blue carrying a parasol for the weather began to walk across the bridge. She stopped to look at the mountain scenery for a moment. It gave me just the touch of color I needed to anchor the scene.
