Lake Athabasca Tundra Swan 6758

     Lake Athabasca is located on Saskatchewan's northern border. As the tundra swans begin their winter migration out of the far north, it is a stopping point for rest and food. The soft, early morning light was clear and brilliant. Using a long telephoto lens I was able to isolate a single bird floating peacefully against a backdrop of warm morning colors.
