Norway Fjord and Mountains 5806

          Every Norwegian fjord seems to have its own unique character and personal visual story that beckons to a photographer. Entering one from the sea, you never really know what to expect and find. The weather has a way of creating magic while adapting to the demands of each fjord. It was the time of year when fog would form and lay nestled above the waters.in the bowl formed by the surrounding mountains. Normally, soon after the sun rose above the land and the temperature warmed up, the fog would dissipate. Not on this morning though, the temperature had not changed much and there seemed to be a bit on an inversion with mountain air pushing downward. The fog over the fjord rose slowly to an unusual height spreading thinly across the length of the fjord. The crisp sunlight turned the fog into something akin to fairy dust turning the entire scene into something straight out of a fairytale.
