     Twr Mawr Lighthouse is a small lighthouse on the coast of North Wales.  It is a small lighthouse built in 1845 offering sunset photo opportunities and views of the Snowdonia mountains in the south. The coastal weather can be finicky to say the least with numerous visits yielding clear blue skies or totally overcast with rain. I timed this arrival based on the prediction of an incoming storm due later that evening. I was rewarded with the weather front still out to sea and a setting sun that was able to light up the undersides of the clouds with great color. Due to the dramatic cloud shapes, I choose not to use a long exposure to smooth the ocean surface as doing so would have blurred the texture in the clouds.
